Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat...the 2008 Presidential Election is gonna get interesting. Barack Obama raised just about as much money as Crazy Clinton.
I admit to providing him with $35 of that money...Brooke and I went to see him speak at a fundraising rally in Denver last month. It was really interesting and I'm glad I'm defying everything my parents ever taught me (and risking getting written out of the will of my uncle jim and pissing off my sister) and researching the candidates and forming educated opinions for myself. I'm still waiting for a republican candidate to peak my interest...
Oh, and he inspired me to make the coolest political t-shirt ever.
The '08 Dems convention is going to take over Denver next summer...I'm planning on renting out my place for like $1500 for the week or something. There are already postings on craigslist so I better get working on working that out...maybe I'll drop the cats off at mama and papa's and take a killer vacation with my earnings. We'll see!
