The Grey's Anatomy School of Music

I'm a faithful student of the Grey's Anatomy School of Music...This is where I've learned about some awesome artists including Snow Patrol (Red Rocks in July) and re-discovered some Austin favs like Ray Lamontagne. Music is so important to that show that did you realize each episode has a music lyric as a title?

Anyway, because of my faithful studies I have previously downloaded some artists who came last night to Alice 105.9's AuNaturAlice concert. IT. WAS. AWESOME. The Entercom radio group is one of our biggest community partners at Bonfils so I was also considered a VIP for the evening, which is the only way to be if you ask me. The concert was at the Soiled Dove Underground which is a small (400 people) cabaret tabled music venue in Denver and was equally as awesome as the folks on stage.

I was in the buffet line with many of the following artists at the VIP party...they did an entirely acoustic show...so when the rest of the world is amazed at Britney Spears' lip-syncing comback these guys are true artists. Check them out...I now officially heart them all. Aside from any and all Rob Thomas musical experiences, this was the best live music showcase I've ever seen!

Mat Kearney (He looks like John Corbett and his bassist, who I've named Johnny Rocket, is ADORABLE)
John McLaughlin (Check out his song Indiana...)
Vega4 (We saw 2 of Vega4...who are, HILARIOUS, Irish guys)
Emerson Hart (former lead singer of Tonic = Freaking Awesome)
Sick Puppies (Aussies!)

Anyways, just wanted to share with those who have not yet enrolled in the Grey's School of Music...do it, you won't be sorry!
