Blue Planet Run

Even though I absolutely HATE running today there is a really cool relay team running through Denver today for Blue Planet Run. 20 runners are literally running around the world (15,000 miles) to raise money and awareness for the need for access to safe drinking water for all people. About one fifth of people on Earth do not have daily, immediate access to the most basic of necessities: safe drinking water.

Many folks from Runners Edge are pacing with the runners as they make their way across Colorado...too bad I run too slow for that ;-) Check out their blog...there are some amazing photos as they've run across the planet.
