The glass is definitely half empty...

It is. Seriously. This weekend pretty much sucked. I'm completely burned out with work...my IT band is still making it hard as heck (it'd be hard WITHOUT the problem, let alone with) so I'm still behind where I need to be to adequately prepare for the marathon...should I actually make it to the start line, that's going to be an agonizing experience that I don't think even 45,000 fellow runners, sea level and a million spectators can help with. I'm sticking with it but am very discouraged...at least in two weeks (again, if I make it that far), we begin the "taper" which I'm tempted to do solely on the eliptical machine.

And the icing on the cake...Texas Football started with a "win" that was pretty sad looking and our game watching for the texas exes was nothing short of a debaucle thanks to directv and various other things.

So yes, I'm cranky and will probably be that way until October 8...after Drive for Life and after the marathon. I'm currently accepting donations of ibuprofen, massages and tequila.
