Go Rockies! The crazy good Colorado Rockies are headed to the World Series...and that is some crazy stuff. The 7th grade version of me is freaking out...she's the girl who spent Spring Break at Spring Training, had every Rockies souvenier imaginable and even kept a Rockies scrapbook...not to mention the huge crush she had on Joe Girardi. They lost their luster a bit during the MLB strikes but its pretty hard not to jump on the bandwagon. Went downtown to enjoy some of the festivities but managed to avoid the chaos, which is good! I'll definitely be trying my ticket buying mojo to get some series tiks.
I do, however, still wonder why most of the team and their manager have to chew the entire package of Big League Chew while being presented with the trophy. The gum was distracting!
