Oprah made me do it!

My friend Jessica will be SO proud...last year she was at my house around Christmas and got upset because I had about five Christmas songs...two had Rob Thomas involved (obviously...speaking of which, I'll be seeing him TWICE in March!) and the rest came from the Love Actually soundtrack. So yesterday, while watching Oprah give her audience her "Favorite Things" that included a $4,000 fridge and a $900 box set of DVDs...she also had Josh Groban on to sing some traditional Christmas carols. As a youth in that one group I was part of...our Christmas shows were so darn cheesy (could be the reason I am reluctant to truly embrace the season) up until the end when we'd perform O Holy Night, the most amazing Christmas song ever. So, in part because I have the slightest crush on Josh Groban and in part because it was the only thing on Oprah's Favorite Things list I could afford...I itunsed his new Christmas CD Noel. Its pretty good people...I'm listening to it as we speak while blogging, writing some copy for a radio spot and drinking hot chocolate because it snowed last night. Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

What is the "one youth group that I was a part of back in the day"? What are you referring to? I would hate Xmas myself after all that.

I am so so proud of you and I signed up for a blog, just so I could talk with my BFF! I obviously do not know how to make mine interesting yet. But we have taken a step into the Christmas Spirit!!! Woohoo! Let me know if I need to send anymore music your way?
Love ya!
