In my days of blog stalking, I've randomly read a few blogs linked from the bro-in-law's site...one of them became part of a group of bloggers who went to Uganda to raise awareness about "life" there and encourage folks to help out. His wife, Heather, also went along. She posted this picture, which is just completely striking:
I haven't read about their travels in great detail, but I plan to. The images they've posted are amazing in that they inspire you to take pause to think about children around the world and what their lives are like...and question how you can help. This little girl is just so beautiful, but her eyes are so haunting...she's seen a world that needs to give her more by giving her a future.

Jen and I are talking and trying to figure out we can "adopt" a child through Compassion!
You've got to read and watch the stories that the bloggers saw, heard, felt, smelled, and "lived" for the time they were in Uganda.
