Live from DIA

Live blogging from DIA with the new laptop (this is its first road test...). Gotta love free WIFI. *Edit* Free apparently equals slow as molasses...I paid my $1.99 to download Lost from itunes but I don't think it will download in the 45 minutes I have until boarding...that was going to keep me busy on the flight!

In other news, I concur with most of Colorado that the "public art" piece of the big blue mustang "greeting" visitors to Denver is a hideous mess. At least it appears as though the red eyes have gone by the wayside...

Also on the drive over I was trying to get a traffic report and was listening to 850 KOA...I'm not going to get into the details about how infuriated I was with the topic of conversation (don't want to get all worked up again before a long flight...) but let me just say this: I sincerely hope that Americans decide to educate themselves...I mean really educate themselves before voting in November (or any of the upcoming primary contests). And by educating themselves, I don't mean just skimming headlines and listening to conservative talk radio.

Finally, I just ate McDonalds. I eat McDonalds about 2 times per year. It was oddly satisfying but I think I'll be good for another 6 months or so...

Until next time...I'll be drinking the sweet sweet tea of the dirty south.
