What a difference a day makes!

Had an interesting day canvassing in Cheyenne...of course they sent me to practically the one neighborhood in the city I'm NOT familiar with!  Hopefully it was productive for the campaign (kudos to the Cheyenne office which is by far the most organized office I've been to yet).  The weather was beautiful!  We also had the opportunity to enjoy Taco John's, Eileen's Cookies and other fabulous Cheyenne treats (and of course walked away with a Wyoming for Obama shirt for the Obama state t-shirt collection).  We had some post-canvass margs with some fellow Denver Obamakins and then stayed at the wonderful Walker residence who were the most fabulous of hosts.Then...the weather turned.  And we turned back to Colorado a bit earlier than planned in order to not get stuck somewhere.  Denver was in the mid-70s on Saturday and we got a ton of heavy, wet snow today...gotta love springtime in the Rockies!

In other news...today is Texas Independence Day.  Hook 'em.

In other other news...this week could shape up to be big for me.  And I mean BIG.  I'm not going to get into it in the blogosphere at this point (don't want to jinx it) but there could be a day that goes down as the 2nd greatest day of my life (the first is obviously the VY Rose Bowl).  So stay tuned...its also gonna be a BUSY week.  Monday is bunco, Tuesday and Wednesday is back-to-back Matchbox Twenty concerts (YEAH!), Saturday is the Denver Democratic Party County Convention (at which I'm a delegate) and Sunday is the Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood concert.  Oh, and then there is a little thing I like to call work and of course lots of politics to pay attention to.
