Take that hypothetical lapel pin and shove it...

::Begin Rant::

ABC News put one over on Obama last night...I mean, it took them 50 minutes to get to a substantial question of actual merit...yes, 50 minutes before old George Stephanopoulos (yes, the same one who used to work for Hillbilly...no conflict of interest there...) asked about the #1 issue on American's minds...the economy.

Instead, Obama spent 50 minutes rehashing dirty laundry about Rev. Wright, his "bitter" remarks and why he doesn't wear an American Flag lapel pin. Are you kidding? If all you have to do to prove you can be president is wear an American flag lapel pin I'm putting one on today...Brea 2012! While Hillbilly (who, I must note, finally wore a decent suit) got to gloss over her Bosnia remarks flap claiming she did it over and over again because she was tired. Again, if she starts making crap up when she is tired I sure hope someone else is answering the phone at 3am.

In the end, the ABC News needs a big arse whooping and a friendly reminder they are not The National Inquirer or Us Weekly. Stick to the issues. No candidate is going to not "misspeak" or always fully execute verbally what they are trying to say when they are recorded and surrounded 24/7 (and have been for what seems like forever). So they need to lay off Obama and they need to lay off Hillbilly and even lay off McCain (although, I hope he figures out the difference between Sunni and Shiites soon) and let the candidates and reporters spend their time working on policy and plans to fix this darn country.

Gas is nearing $3.50/gallon here in Colorado, the economy is in the crapper, I'm going to be lucky to keep my job and if I lose my job I'm not going to be able to sell my house because buyers are going to be incentivized to purchase foreclosed homes. Give me a break. We are a country at war with a pitiful domestic outlook and ABC News chooses to spend nearly half of a 2-hour debate rehashing a bunch of bull sheiza that has nothing...absolutely nothing...to do with making this country a great place for my little niece and nephew to live in when all of the political and news big wigs are long gone. And yes, the government in the end isn't going to do a whole heck of a lot to fix said country, but at this point its really all we've got to go on.

Rant On!
The Saving Grace of the whole situation is that every headline stated "Hillary Admits Barack Could Win the Election!" Even when she wins she loses!

Peace!
