Register to Vote

I was "deputized" yesterday--at the first of what I assume will be many neighborhood Obama gatherings in the next few months--to register people to vote. It was a lengthy training...lots to learn, lots of oaths to take...just kidding. I essentially was walked through the voter registration form and signed a paper and wala...i'm registered to register people to vote.

Anyway, if you are in Colorado and need to register, you know who to ask...otherwise, I encourage everyone to make sure your vote registration is current by checking with the Secretary of your State...and I would also strongly recommend, especially those of you in CO, to sign up (also via the voter registration form) to get your ballots by mail. I sure don't want a repeat of last election, which wasn't even a Presidential election, in which i stood in line for 5 hours to vote.
