Mile High Music Festival

Spent Sunday at the Mile High Music Festival. It was the first big music festival of its kind in the big D and it was pretty great...aside from the traffic nightmares, I have no complaints about the organization.

We saw One Republic, Colbie Calliat, John Mayer and Dave Matthews Band. The greatest "new find" I found was Rodrigo Y Gabriela a spanish guitar type duo which was fantastic. I wasn't head over heels going in for any of the artists but it was a great time sitting outside (and I managed not to get sunburned) and listening to music. John Mayer, who was sporting some seriously hideous sunglasses (he's dating Jennifer Aniston? Really?) put on a great show...I really enjoy some of his new stuff (Say, Waiting on the World to Change). This did make me miss all of my "favorite" artists who aren't seeming to come to Denver any time soon...there is nothing like seeing your favorite musicians live...so if any of my favs are listening, come to Denver soon!

Pics below!

If you look closely in the rearview, you can see Dan on a razr scooter...we weren't moving very quickly in traffic so he scooted to the store for some gatorade.
Another weekend, another fabulous hat...Laurie and me
Nice view of the big city...
It was so hot, Sam caught on fire (Laurie and Sam)
Hannah Montana chairs...classic.
John Mayer is so cool.
Next year I'm taking Matty Cakes.
Sunset and people...lots and lots of people.
Somehow, Jessica managed to find us in the crowd.
