Estes Park

I spent the past few days at the historic "haunted" Stanley Hotel in Estes Park for my department retreat for work (I'm not in nonprofit world any more). Some of the more memorable aspects of the trip (you know, aside from all of the learning) was that Colorado had a big cold front move through and the temps were hovering around 50 degrees the entire time. It was amazing! The nearby mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park even got a fresh coat of snow. At one point I got bit by a ghost spider or something and thought my leg was going to fall off...I think I might survive though ;-)

Some creepy hotel pics...

Nothing like snowfall in August...

On Friday night we had a murder mystery dinner set in a Chicago nightclub in the 1920's...and guess what? I was the murderer! It was really fun to see everyone dress up and get in character...you get to know your co-workers in a whole new light (especially since I've only worked there for three weeks)! I found this FABULOUS pink feather headband on etsy that I'm going to try to work into my wardrobe...my name was Rebecca Ravioli.

Me and Danielle (we used to work together at Bonfils) She was a psychiatrist...
Family resemblance? My soon-to-be dead pops.

Can you tell I'm not a smoker? We had fabulous fake cigs.
