One airline charges $7 for a pillow, while another starts offering WIFI. I don't get why airlines (sans Southwest, apparently) just can't figure it all out! Live long and prosper, Frontier (especially because they just dumped in my Qwest bundle frequent flier miles)!

China thought that they could take 3 weeks, turn everything off, and POOF, the pollution would disappear. Seriously? I'm looking forward to the Olympics, although I was slightly overwhelmed with nbcolympics.com...can someone just tell me when gymnastics (or that cutie michael phelps) is on?

I saw my first Friday Night Lights commercial on DirecTV. October 1 can't come soon enough...and I'm suddenly very popular since I'm the only who has DirecTV (where the show will originally air). Feel free to come watch...just bring food and/or cocktails. I'm going to try to stalk the filming when I'm in Austin later this month...Panther Pride baby!

I wonder what I did with my coat...23 days later, Denver temps are in the low 80s. Still no rain though...so you know, hades hasn't completely frozen over. And I'm glad I don't live in 100+ degree Dallas (even if they do have a Taco Cabana).

I think CU has bigger things to worry about than going trash free...I'd imagine that without trash cans, the students will just use the opportunity to throw crap at superior teams who come to town to show them what's up (ie the Texas game on Oct. 4, to which I have 8 tickets). I wonder if they make burnt orange garbage bags?

While I could think of better things to do with $14million (although it did go to charity)...the gimic worked. I bought People (which I maybe do twice a year, usually at airports) and the Jolie-Pitts are one big beautiful family...in a We are the World kind of way. Maddox, the first, is still the coolest kid on the block.
