Two bottles of wine...some margaritas...and a shot of tequila.

Jessica flew home for Christmas on Saturday, so I kidnapped her and had Jolea drive down to have a fun girls afternoon/evening before they both headed back to Cheytucky.

We started off by decorating gingerbread people at Red Trolley. I, of course, made a Longhorn gingerbread man...and not just any man...Jordan Shipley! All of the ingredients were organic and used no artificial colors or flavors, so the green icing was colored with mint and it was delicious. Very fun (and no clean up)!

Look, it's Jess Walker!
My Longhorn Gingerbread...away game uniform edition.

Couldn't resist...

We did a little gift exchange and drank a bottle of wine before heading out to Osteria Marco for another bottle of wine and some delicious food! We then headed to Cru wine bar where we really showed our old age by having some intense political and social discussions over wine flights (and yes, we're even all still friends afterwards) and finished the night at Lime where Jessica and Jolea learned first hand the plight of the single girl...margaritas on top of a shot of tequila pretty much did the girls in (I decided not to include that photo so that they don't disown me). I love my ladies...can't wait to reunite in Wyoming in a few days!

Jessica's halo...
