Inauguration Bound!

Well, my friends, as my dad says...I'm completing my journey. Saturday, dark and early, Joy and I are heading to DC via Philly to spend 5 glorious days surrounded by 4 million (or maybe 2 million, perhaps just 1 million) of our closes Obama friends. Seems fitting, as we became friends thanks to Obama!

I managed to get my gala outfit for approximately $100...I'm such a good recessionista! I got actual tickets to the swearing in courtesy of my congresswoman, Diana DeGette, and will be there to witness history. I promise a full report and tons of pictures upon my return...as long as we have cell service though, I'll be twittering (the feed is on the right-hand side of the blog). Here's to a George Clooney sighting, Cosi, seeing old friends in my old stomping grounds and of course, enough Port-O-Lets to go around!
