Geting our Horns up at 7200 feet.

Well, I'd been looking forward to it for a long time, and it didn't disappoint. A great weekend in Wyoming to see my beloved Texas Longhorns take on the home state team! The Longhorns started VERY slow, and the hyped-up and ready-to-play Wyoming Defense didn't help anything. Our defense was amazing as well, keeping Wyoming from doing anything major offensively. We went into the half 13-10, causing minor heart palpitations, but ended up pulling out the big win with a much better 2nd half, winning 41-10.

The offense finally kicked into gear heading into the half with a TD.
My boy Jordan Shipley! I said that during pre-game and someone asked me if he was my son...I was like, NO!...he's my husband.
Couldn't ask more from our defense. Muschamp gets 'em fired up!

The Longhorns have some work to do to be prepared for last year's season ruiner Texas Tech as they roll into Austin for Saturday night's game...so I'm glad Wyoming put up a tough fight to keep them motivated.

I do have some words for the Texas athletic department for making the decision not to make room for the Longhorn band...this was apparently the first game there hasn't been a LHB presence since the 80's. No LHB? WTF?!?!!?!?!?

On Gameday me and Bjorn headed to Laramie with JW2 where we tailgated with the Wyoming folks who were serving up Bevo for breakfast (I chose to eat the "team neutral" Eileen's cookie). We also headed over to the Wyoming alumni tent to visit with friends and then headed to the stadium. We had a good crew in our row, Uncle Jim, Uncle Alan, Jen, Brian, Morgan, Matty and my mom and dad!

Now taking reservations for Austin 2010.
The shirt I made for Morgan and Matty to wear.

Adam ate "Texas" so I ate the Cowboy head.

Morgan, before her mommy taught her to put her Horns down instead...how rude!
Matty Lemmings @ 7200 feet.
Even without LHB, we managed a round of the 'Eyes post-game. Go horns!

If you couldn't tell there actually physically WASNT any room for the Long Horn Band!!! At least we scared you for a little bit, I think the Pokes have some potential!

I enjoyed watching Mack Brown throw down his headset when he was ticket at the refs (by the way the MWC employs the worst refs in all of college football!).

Thanks for coming!!!
