Its gonna be awesome.

Well, as of May 1 my marathon training has officially begun (aka I finally started running again and have my pre-training schedule all scheduled). I have my plane ticket booked to Chicago. I have a place to stay in Chicago. I even bought a book about Chicago...

Who knows truthfully what is ahead of me on this 5+ month journey, but I'm excited. I'm going to join a local training group in June called Runners Edge of the Rockies and they expect to have nearly 30 people training locally for the Chicago Marathon, which will be awesome. Its gonna be awesome. Hard. Exhausting. But Awesome.

Here's to hoping all my long runs are good runs and all of my short runs are powerful runs.
