It's hot in...it's hot in here!

So this summer has been hot. The real bummer of it all, however, is the fact that we've had about 2 drops of rain at my house since May. It's something like the 4th dryest year ever on record in Colorado with less than 4 inchses of precipitation for the entire year. See, the beauty of Colorado is that it typically cools off at night...or cools off every few days with a little rain storm that moves through...and for someone who doesn't have air conditioning, that was usually enough to keep the house at a manageable temperature.

Not this summer. Nope. My house was 81 degrees this morning (down from 85 last night). Stetson, in survival mode, is shedding about 20 pounds of hair per day.

The kicker is that 9news.com is having some technical difficulties and this is what I saw from the planning forecast this morning:
If only it were true. I'm off to research portable AC units...

Brea... there is something wrong with your desktop in that picture! I can't quite put my finger on it...

It seems like it might be something green at one end, with a lot of blue perhaps...
