Yes, I spent over $200 on rocks.

My big April landscaping project is nearing completion...You can see pictures on my pictures page, but please, don't judge yet...I'm not quite finished. I put natural sandstone rocks down in the backyard and have to still put the "sand" on to complete the look, but the hardest part is done. Just envision the dark dirty spots will be a nice sand color here soon. Its suppossed to rain/snow Monday and Tuesday so that will hopefully help the dirt settle a bit and stuff. I did go ahead and add some decorative touches...including the garden gnome (who lost his feet in the blizzard last December, but we had a successful re-attachment surgery) and my ikea tea light lanterns on the tree (i LOVE ikea).

Also, envision that big mound of dirt as a walled off garden someday soon...I can only handle so much at a time. I'll hopefully grow bluebonnets...my goal is to make the backyard Texas chic.

Much thanks to the moms and pops for their assistance...although, I was a total renaissance woman at home depot today and did ALL of the heavy lifting myself (since my day labor people are in HOTlanta visiting miss morgan, who they bought a TMX Elmo and yes, at the age of less than a month shy of 26, I was jealous).
