This week should be a crazy, eventful, tiring and fun one.
As a follow up to my last post, Auburn beat #4 Florida last night so things were truly crazy in the NCAA. In the words of Morgan Lemmings...War Eagle HEY!
Tuesday is Drive for Life. I'll be at INVESCO for about 7 hours tomorrow and 18(yes one eight) hours on Tuesday...arriving at 4am. Awesome. This will be the first of my three DFL events where I'm not officially in charge...should be "fun." If you are in Denver and want to give blood...come on down.
Unfortunately I'll miss this, but oh well.
I'm also finally taking my car in to get fixed from the blizzard hit and run last year...that's $500 down the tubes for some crazy jerk face who didn't leave a note.
FINALLY, Thursday is wheels up to Chicago. Yes, its a total bummer that I won't be able to run (ok, not so much that I won't be able to run but that all my hard work went down the drain). I plan on taking my running shoes and go for a jog along the lakefront just so I can say I ran Chicago. The weather should be good for my itinerary: Cosi, H&M, American Girl Place with Morgan, Art Institute and much more. It'll be fun to cheer Brian on...I also found out last week a few of my co-workers are running the race after only training since Sept. 1. That kind of pisses me off so I might trip them on the course.
In other news I caught up this weekend on Fall TV. I love TV. The best of the season premieres were definitely Ugly Betty (who saw the Santos shocker at the end coming?) and (yeah for PB&J) The Office (5k to cure rabies anyone?). Grey's was weird. In terms of new shows I'm giving Private Practive and Cane a shot for permanent DVRdom. Also gotta give it out to Gossip Girl on the CW. Friday Night Lights premieres this Friday. WATCH IT. I saw the premiere online and it was dramarific.
Ok, that's all you'll probably hear from me until I return from the Windy City with triumphant tales of Brian's conquering of the marathon and my awesome run around the block.
