Props to Pitt

I have to hand it to Brad Pitt...I've commented on New Orleans before and I definitely think its one of the most tragic situations in American history. Pitt's Make it Right foundation is building sustainable housing for 150 families in the lower 9th ward...these are affordable ($150,000 homes) homes that are strong and healthy and can survive future threats from mother nature, but they also have low-environmental impact. They are also very cool looking. You can donate by taking a virtual tour of a house and purchasing anything from solar panels to a can of paint for the walls to help support the building of these homes. He even turned the project into public art by building a bunch of pink swathed houses. Brad Pitt's a do-gooder as well...not forgetting about New Orleans and truly being more than just a (very attractive) face to this nonprofit.
