As the closing credits rolled, I couldn't help but wonder...why can't this show go on forever?
Well, the day finally came and let's just say I loved the Sex and the City movie! It was indeed heavier than the show (probably because the 2+ hour movie wasn't broken up into 4 episodes) but it was deliciously funny and heart-warming! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can complete my collection. I think above all else, SATC teaches women to be happy with themselves before trying to find happiness with men, life, etc. And I heart Carrie Bradshaw.
The girls gathered for the 2:30 movie (definitely the most well-dressed movie experience I've ever had) followed by some martinis (tartini, flirtini, etc.), snacks and drinks at Osteria Marco (yep, the same restaurant that my ex-boyfriend Rob Thomas recommended in our infamous meet and greet session), sipping cosmos at the Ritz and some other randomness. Definitely lots of girlie drinks were had to celebrate and I have to of course mention how much I love my amazingly awesome girlfriends (those who were there, and those who were there in spirit!). PS - I learned in the movie that Beethoven also composed some amazing love letters...alert future boyfriends of Brea that they can feel free to copy.
